It’ s Just a Cat

It’s just a cat was created during my one-week session at Penland School of Craft In Western NC. It was made using the letterpress during a class led by Bridget Elmer. This zine was inspired by my friend Chandler, who was attempting to diffuse her fear of spiders by picking them up and telling herself “it’s just a cat,” I was listening. “I love touching cats, and spiders, they’re not really any more dangerous than cats,” she said, and I thought that philosophy was applicable in a lot of other situations, and quite inspiring.
